Can You Say "Busy"?

Hello, everyone. I'm very sorry for the sabbatical I've taken over the last two weeks. Needless to say I've been VERY busy with school and football. It's hard to get new posts up sometimes with all of the homework and long days I've been having.

The majority of my days begin at 7 a.m. Monday is our day off but on Tuesday-Thursday I'm up at that time to go to mandatory breakfast. I then have an 8 a.m. class on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Monday, I'm in class until 9 p.m. In between that time I have meetings, film study, homework, lunch and mandatory dinner.

Tuesdays aren't quite as hectic as far as classes go, but I have meetings and practice to make up for all that. I get up for breakfast, go lift, go to class, get lunch, then head back to the stadium for meetings and practice. I'm out of practice around 6:30 p.m. and get some dinner. I have study tables until 9:30 or 10 p.m. before heading home to watch some film of the week's opponent.

Wednesday and Thursdays are basically the same as Tuesday. Friday is our travel day and Saturday is when the fun begins. On Sunday, I'm resting in the morning before going to church. Then I'm at the stadium from 2-10 p.m. This is the life of a college football player. Want to try it? I wouldn't do without it though.

NEXT TIME
I will get on a routine of giving you more interesting info and insight on the life of an IU football player. There will be a player profile up this week as well so be sure to check back.
