Tomorrow morning at 6am marks the official beginning to our "offseason." My teammates and I are to be inside our Mellencamp indoor field, on the goalline ready to go at 6 in the morning. This is one thing that you DO NOT want to oversleep for and miss. I know I will be awaking at 5 am just in case I need to scrape off my truck windows in the morning, or in case of some freak accident I can still make it there on time.
Over the majority of the past we have all been lifting under the watchful eye of Mark Wateska three times each week. The lifts have been intense and have given us a good base to work off of for the rest of the offseason. The intensity of the offseason will be in full gear beginning tomorrow morning. I must say that I'm anxious to see how everyone will perform since it is the first team run since December. I know for a fact that some of my teammates, myself included, have been running on their own here and there. Regardless, the first run is always tough for everyone. I'm looking forward to pushing myself to the limit.
I've kept this post short because it's 9:15pm and I need to be getting to bed soon so I can be rested for tomorrow morning. In the next day or two look out for a great post regarding someone who has meant a lot to me over the past few years.

Good luck! I'm already looking forward to the Spring Game.
The foundation for 2008 is being set now...keep up the hard work it will pay off. Remember coach Corso's statement, what have you done today to beat Purdue!
Get after it!
