So Thankful

I just want to say I hope you had a blessed and joyful Thanksgiving. It was by far my laziest day of the year. I ate with my parents before watching three football games (not including the Colts). I also spent most of the day walking around with a headache, sore throat, burning eyes and snotty nose. Boy, was that great! Nevertheless, I was so happy to be with my parents and being sick didn't put a damper on my Thanksgiving. I took the time to thank the Lord for everything I have and to spend quality time with my family.

While on the subject of being thankful, I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the regular season, both on and off the field. This blog of mine started as a simple idea. I had no idea so many people would appreciate it and be touched by it. So many doors have opened for me to this point simply because of the exposure this blog has given me. It's been a blessing to have this avenue to display an off the field talent of mine.

It's a great time to be a Hoosier! Coach Lynch received a four-year contract, which is a true blessing. He deserves this job, he wants this job, and I have full faith in him. I don't think he will lead us to greatness; I know he will lead us to greatness.

Also, the biggest subject of conversation among football fans and players alike is which bowl we will go to and who we will play. I've been reading all different types of crazy scenarios, but the bottom line is I'm not really worried about what team we will play or when we will play them. I'm happy and so thankful to have the opportunity to go WIN a bowl game. We just need to continue to work hard and prepare to WIN the bowl game.

WORD FOR THE ROAD

The blog has been great. It is interesting to hear the thoughts of someone on the inside. As a long time IU fan and season ticket holder, this has been a season to remember. I look forward to the future of this team, and watching you develop as the feature back over the next couple years.

You guys have raised the bar, go get Bowl win, and continue to make the Hoosier Nation a proud one!

GO HOOSIERS!

Happy holidays to you and yours, Bryan. As an alum and fan, I'd like to thank you and the team for making this the most exciting season of IU football in years! I can't begin to explain my excitement for the future, nor my pride to know that men like you represent Indiana University!

I hope you continue your blog even after we WIN the bowl game. I've loved reading it and enjoying your writing skills. I think I've said this before... you are a very talented writer! I feel like I understand the kind of person you are just from the way you have shared your thoughts with all of us. On one of the game day radio broadcasts, Don Fisher announced an exceptional play that you had made, and I found myself thinking, "I KNOW that guy!!!" *smile*

Byran you have become my favorite player on the team (even over Hardy and Lewis) becuase of your hardwork, determination and dedication to THE Indiana football team! At fist I wanted you guys to go to Motor City bowl so i could go see you guys playu one more time. But then i remembered someone saying in the beginning of the season 'i want to be some where warm for the holidays'. So now I am praying that you guys get invited to the Champs Sports bowl or the Insight bowl. Anyway where ever you go i know the hoosiers will kick*** but good luck and happy holidays. -Riley Seidel

Bryan-
Thanks for all you've done, I am just glad we have you back for a few more years! You really stepped up this season when we needed a rb.

I would like to see a book written about this season, authored by you!

Go IU!

Thanks for everything Brian.

I've been to most games over the past 10-15 years and many of those havent been fun seasons for the Hoosiers.

Thanks to you and your teammates for one of the most memorable seasons ever. I think the sky is the limit for next year!

Thanks Brian! Go Hoosiers! Go get a Bowl win!

You've got a wonderful talent for football and it appears journalism. You probably don't remember, but I met you in the Btown mall three years ago. I believe you were a freshman and we were getting ready to play Illinois that day. You were with your father and I approached you in the sporting goods store there. I was looking for a James Hardy jersey and they didn't have any. Long story short, I'm just glad you represent the university well and that I had that chance encounter with you. Good Luck!

This is Brandon Hatcher. I have been saying this since the start of the year. I dont care where the bowl is. I will be there. I know a lot of the guys are saying the same thing so expect a lot of former players there. I am proud of you guys. This Season was for coach Hepp.
